Paris to Champagne and back.
Leave Paris at 9am by private luxury car. Your driver speaks English, knows the route, and handles every detail of getting you there and home. By mid-morning you are inside one of the great Grande Marque houses; Pommery, Veuve Clicquot, or Ruinart, for a private tasting arranged around your presence, not a tour group’s schedule.
After lunch, we visit a grower-producer. Here the story changes. No marketing, no visitor centre, just a winemaker who tends their own vines, understands their own terroir, and pours wines that taste of a specific place. You walk the vineyards. You ask questions.
By 6pm you are back in the car. By 7pm you are in Paris, in time for dinner. Everything between departure and return; tastings, the table, all fees is arranged by us.
- Private luxury vehicle with English-speaking driver
- Return transfers from and to your Paris hotel
- Private tasting at one Grande Marque Champagne house
- Private tasting at one grower-producer estate
- Gastronomic three-course lunch with wine included
- All tasting and estate fees
- Curated route planning and pre-arrival support
- Dedicated assistance before and during your experience
9:00am – Departure from Paris
Your driver collects you directly from your hotel for the journey east toward Champagne. As Paris gives way to countryside, the pace changes noticeably. This is not a rushed group excursion or a train schedule to manage. The day begins quietly, with enough time to settle into the experience before the first glass is poured.
11:00am – Grande Marque tasting
Your first tasting takes place at one of Champagneu2019s historic houses u2014 Pommery, Veuve Clicquot, or Ruinart. The atmosphere here is expansive and polished: underground chalk cellars, long corridors lined with bottles, and a sense of institutional memory that only centuries can create. Depending on the house selected, the experience may lean architectural, historic, or deeply wine-focused, but always with private guidance and time to ask questions beyond the standard visitor script.
1:00pm – Lunch in the vineyards
Lunch is hosted at a carefully chosen chefu2019s table or vineyard restaurant overlooking the surrounding countryside. The menu changes seasonally and is paired with wines selected to complement the region rather than compete with it. This part of the day is intentionally unhurried u2014 a pause between tastings, and a chance to enjoy Champagne as locals do: at the table.
3:30pm – Grower-producer visit
The afternoon turns toward a smaller producer where Champagne is discussed less as a global brand and more as an agricultural craft. Here, the conversation often moves to vineyard parcels, family history, and how small production changes shape the final wine. After the tasting, there is time to walk through the vineyards themselves before the return journey to Paris.
6:00pm – Return to Paris
As the light softens over the countryside, you leave Champagne behind and begin the drive back to the city.
7:00pm – Arrival in Paris
You return to your hotel in time for dinner, with the feeling of having spent a day inside the region, not simply passing through it.
We work directly with several of Champagne’s most respected houses, including Pommery, Veuve Clicquot, and Ruinart. These partnerships allow us to build a day that balances internationally recognised maisons with smaller grower-producers whose work is rarely encountered through standard tourism itineraries.
Which Grande Marque house will we visit?
We confirm this during the booking process based on availability and your preference. We currently work with houses including Pommery, Veuve Clicquot, and Ruinart.
Can we request a specific grower-producer?

Can this become a multi-day Champagne or wine trip?
Not as a standard product at this time, though we regularly arrange bespoke multi-day wine journeys across France on request.
Is lunch adaptable for dietary requirements?
Yes. Dietary restrictions and preferences are confirmed in advance during the consultation process.
What is the cancellation policy?
Full refund up to 14 days before the experience.
