A Paris often overlooked.
It sits just past the peripherique, in a neighbourhood the guidebooks barely cover, where 1,700 antique dealers have been quietly trading 17th-century mirrors, Art Deco lighting, mid-century furniture and rare African pieces since the 1880s. The Puces de Saint-Ouen is France’s fifth most-visited site, yet most who go leave overwhelmed, having seen a fraction of what mattered.
We take you with a plan and people who know where to go. Three curated markets, dealers who already expect you, and wine paired with artisan cheese and charcuterie in a working family cellar minutes from the action. No tour buses. No counters. No rush.
Every detail handled so you can simply browse, taste, discover.
Private host throughout
English-speaking, market-fluent, with you from start to finish.
Curated dealer introductions
We’ve pre-arranged warm welcomes at partner dealers across the markets, including specialists in Art Deco, African art, and modernist design.
Wine tasting with cheese & charcuterie
An intimate, guided tasting at a working family cave a vin, led by a host with genuine knowledge of French wine, alongside the cave’s owner.
Shipping coordination on request
For purchases over 500 euros, we coordinate international shipping directly with the dealer to Lagos, Houston, Accra, or wherever home is.
Echo Experiences guest courtesy
Most of our partner dealers extend a discreet courtesy on purchases made through our introduction.
Meeting point – Espresso & the route
We meet at Clem & Gwen, the neighbourhood’s quiet coffee spot beside La Communaleu00a0 for an espresso and a short brief on the markets, the dealers, and what to look for.
First market – Design & decorative arts
The interior designer’s market. Art Deco lighting, mid-century furniture, modernist mirrors. We introduce you to two dealers who hold pieces for our guests.
Two more markets – Serious antiques & surprise
Biron’s long avenue of 17th- to 20th-century antiques. Then Vernaison, the oldest and most labyrinthine, where the most surprising finds still happen.
Saturdays only, Vernaison is closed on Fridays. On Fridays, we spend more time at Biron and move directly to the cave.
The tasting – Wine, cheese & charcuterie
An intimate family-run cellar. A guided tasting through several French regions paired with artisan cheese and cold cuts, led by a host with genuine knowledge of French wine, alongside the cave’s owner. Non-alcoholic options available. Seated. Unhurried.

What is the difference between Private and Small Group?
Private reservations are exclusively for your group and include hotel pickup, flexible pacing, and a choice of dinner experience. Small Group reservations follow a scheduled departure with a central meeting point and shared experience format.
Can we choose our dinner experience?
Yes. Private bookings may select between Terroir & Tradition at Home, Wine & Cheese Soiree, or a reserved restaurant experience at booking.
What if our flight is delayed?
For private bookings, contact us immediately so we can discuss available rescheduling options. For small-group departures, we wait an additional five minutes at the meeting point before beginning the evening.
Can we book this for our final evening in Paris instead?
Yes. Although designed for arrival day, the format works beautifully as a final-evening Paris experience before departure.
Are dietary restrictions accommodated?
Yes. Dietary requirements and wine preferences are confirmed before the experience and adjusted in advance with our culinary partners.
